Harrison married Malinda Gates about 1866 or 1867. They had one child, Fred, born 1866, [4] It appears Fred died in his youth as he is not listed in the 1870 Federal Census. The 1900 Federal Census states Harrison and Malinda were married for 33 years by 1900.
