Helen B. Landauer, of Roswell, passed away Sept. 14, 2008, at the age of 87. She was born Aug. 12, 1921, to the late Zygmund and Suzanna Szymanski in Westfield, Mass.

Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Edmund, Henry and James; her late husband, Edwin Buckingham; and stepson, Paul Landauer. She is survived by her sisters, Jayne Janonis and Trudy Staniulis; daughter, Susan B. Massamillo, husband, L. Charles Landauer; stepchildren, Michael Landauer, Mary Lou Dunham, Patricia Landauer, Peter Landauer and Daniel Landauer. She leaves wonderful memories to her grandchildren, Andrew, Christian, Elizabeth, Charles, Ryan, Katherine and Kristin; and to many nieces and nephews.

Helen was raised and attended school in Johnson City, N.Y., where she became a legal secretary. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Latham, N.Y. on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at 9 a.m.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic School in Roswell.
