KNOX — Donna M. Wallace — a loving wife, mother, and grandmother — died at St. Peters Hospital on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. She was 65. “She was a grandmother who loved her grandkids dearly,” said her daughter, Michelle Butler. “They were her world.”

Born on May 16, 1947 in Albany, she was the daughter of William and Mildred (Sowalski) Creamer.

She was married to Ronald Wallace and enjoyed outdoor adventures with him. “She loved to fish in Canada with my father,” said Ms. Butler.

Mrs. Wallace was a happy person whose life centered on her family. “She was full of laughter,” said her daughter. “She loved her family. She was a good, good person.”

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her children, Michelle and Charles Butler, Nicole Prusinski and Todd Hubbard, John Wallace, and Karen Jamack; her grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Kaitlin, Jessica, Ashley, and Justin; her siblings, Sandra Wisniewski, Sue Ogsbury, Elaine Dingwall, Michael and Mary Creamer; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, Sept. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home at 199 Main Street in Altamont.

Butler, Wallace wed Sept. 25

ALTAMONT — Michelle Wallace, daughter of Ronald and Donna Wallace of Middle Road, Knox, was married Sept. 25 (1994) to Charles Butler, son of Tony and Esther Bihunick of Altamont Boulevard. The Rev. Paula Cravelle and the Rev. James K. Hilton performed the ceremony at St. John's Lutheran Church in Altamont. Maid of honor was Nicole D. Wallace. Bridesmaids were Tracey Creamer, Kim Wagner and Kim Wallace.

Best man was Geoffrey Brown. Ushers were John Wallace, Wayne Donato and Allen Brown. Ring bearers were Robert and Matthew Prusinski.

The bride, a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, is a secretary at Blue Shield of Northeastern New York.

The groom, a graduate of Guilderland High School, is a laborer.

Following a reception at the Desmond Hotel and a wedding trip to the Poconos, in Pennsylvania, the couple is living on Maple Avenue Extension.
