Death
Martha Settle died April 6, 1917.
Obituary
Mrs. Martha Abbott, who fell March 18 and sustained a broken hip, died Friday, April 6, of pneumonia. She was 81 years old. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Watson Zimmer. Mrs. Abbott united with the M. E. church when only a girl. She has always been a devoted Christian. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Watson Zimmer and Mrs. George Armstrong. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends morn her loss. The Rev. M. Zweizig of the M. E. church preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery.

As we write we learn of the death of Mr. Ralph Abbott, an aged citizen, who has been in ill health for a long time. He was an upright, conscientious Christian gentleman. Deceased leaves a wife and two daughters, Mrs. George Armstrong and Mrs. Watson Zimmer, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
