Birth
Matthew (Johan Matthias) Warner was born February 11 1707, in Germany. He was the son of Christopher Werner and Maria Magdalena Dewes.
Marriage & Children
He Married Anna Maria Barbara Bellinger on September 30, 1730. She was the daughter of Marcus Bellinger and Anna Deckman and born Abt. 1711 died Bef. 1800. They had several children:

- Christopher Warner b.6-25-1738 d.10-28-1811
- He married (1) Elizabeth Engel 5-3-1760, Schoharie Luteran Church, Schoharie, NY. m.(2) Margaret Zeh 10-23-1787, Reformed Church, Berne,NY.
- Hendrick Warner b. 2-10-1740 d. 1812
- He married Eva Schaeffer 2-8-1767, Schoharie Lutheran Church, Schoharie, NY.

- He married (1) Sarah (2) Maria Elizabeth Schaeffer 2-9-1772, Schoharie Lutheran Church, Schoharie, NY.

Occupation
Probably moved to Beaver Dam by 1765. Either he or his sons Christopher Warner and Johannes Warner and built Warner's Sawmill half way between Berne and East Berne. Most of his children moved to Beaver Dam also, but perhaps not all at the same time.
Death
17 Nov. 1785 Beaver Dam (now Berne).
