Everett R. Mackey

Birth

Everett was born in July 1893 in New York State to Ivan O. Mackey and his wife, Ella. He was likely born in Rensselaerville where his parents were living at the time.

Marriage & Children

On May 21, 1921, Everett married Grace May Tallman, daughter of Fletcher D. Tallman and Alice W. Freleigh, in the Rensselaerville Episcopal Church in Rensselaerville. They had three children:

Death

He died on January 1, 1938, in Albany Hospital in Albany, N.Y. and was buried in Brookside Cemetery in Preston Hollow.

From unknown newspaper on January 2, 1938:

Everett R. Mackey - Funeral of Everett R. Mackey, resident of Clarksville for several years, who died last night in Albany hospital after an illness of several weeks will take place Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Babcock Funeral home in Ravena. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Tallman Mackey, and three children.
