John Joslin was born in Dutchess County, NY on June 7, 1795, a son of Daniel Joslin and Mary Snyder
Marriage & Children
In Berne, at about 1821, John married Phebe McNary who was born in Dutchess County on June 7, 1801, a daughter of Martin A. McNary and Betsey Cary. They had one known child:
- Martin A. Joslin born on April 20, 1837
Phebe McNary Joslin died on November 7, 1856 and John married secondly, the widow Mary A. Cass.

John died on May 23, 1876 at Berne and is buried beside his wife, Phebe at the Joslin Burial Ground in Berne
