Birth

Coleman Armstrong was born in Knox on March 22, 1837, the son of James Armstrong (1811-1884) and Sarah Tygert (1815-1854).

Occupation

Coleman was a farmer in Knox.

Marriage & Children

Coleman married Elmina Chesebro, and had one child, Mary Armstrong, who was baptized in 1862. Mary Armstrong married Elias Babcock. According to her obituary, Mary Armstrong had a brother, Leroy Armstrong of Schenectady, and two children, Coleman Babcock, and Elmina Babcock, who was teaching school at Long Island.

Death

Coleman died February 26, 1871.
