Birth
Simon Flansburgh was born in about 1838 in New Scotland, Albany Co, NY to John J. Flansburgh (B. June 10, 1812, D. Aug 15, 1887) and Martha Sophia Siver (B. Nov 6, 1818, D. Nov 26, 1904).[1] He was one of eleven children.[1]

He married at Stillwater, Saratoga Co., NY at about 1868, Sarah, a daughter of William Overocker and Sarah Robinson who was born at about 1842 at Stillwater, NY. They had the following children:
