Birth
Edward Mattice, the son of Bartholomew B. Mattice (B. 1822, D. Apr 2, 1872) and Harriet Schermerhorn (B. 1827, D. Mar 19, 1905), was born June 13, 1841[1] August 10, 1847 in Knox, Albany County, NY.[2] He was the second of ten children.[2]
Marriage & Children
After he returned from the Civil War, on April 7, 1867 in Schoharie, Schoharie County, NY he married Alice Wilber (B. 1849, D. 1922) the daughter of Gideon Wilber and Jane Snyder.[2]

Death
Edward Mattice's wife Alice died in 1922.[2] Edward died seven years later in 1929.[2]
