Birth
Adam was born at about 1842 in New Scotland, Albany Co, NY to John J. Flansburgh (B. June 10, 1812, D. Aug 15, 1887) and Martha Sophia Siver (B. Nov 6, 1818, D. Nov 26, 1904).[1] He was one of eleven children.[1]

Death
Adam died on October 4, 1901 at Sanford, Florida,[4]and was buried at the Lakeview Cemetery, Sanford, Seminole Co. Florida. His widow, Emma, received her pension from his Civil War service on January 2, 1902.
