Birth

William Emery Reinhart was born February 26, 1845 in Berne to John J. Reinhart (B. March 16, 1824, D. April 19, 1896) and Emeline Coonley (B. Oct 20, 1825, D. April 7, 1889).[1][2] He was the oldest of ten children.[1] He used the name Emery.

Marriage & Children

Before 1870, he married Maria Bergett (B. July 1846, D. Mar 24, 1890), whose parents are unknown.[1]

Life

After he returned from the Civil War in 1865 William was living with his parents and siblings, and working as a farmer.[5]

Death

William's wife Maria died on March 24, 1890 at only 43 years and 10 months.[1] William lived for another decade, dying on June 29, 1901.[1]
