Stewart, Ebenezer

Birth

Ebenezer was born in April of 1830.^[1], a son of Andrew Stewart and Lydia Seaman both of Albany County, but spent their last days in Greenville.^[2]

Occupation

Ebenezer Stewart has been a farmer, speculator in stock and wool buyer; his business is now dealing in wool at South Westerlo, which business he has followed twenty-five years.^[2]

Marriage and Children

Ebenezer married Catherine Carpenter, a daughter of Thomas G. Carpenter and Janett Green.^[2] at about 1849.
They had two children:

Lorenzo D. Stewart^[2]
Susan S. Stewart, wife of Clarence S. Gage, proprietor of the Ravena House, Ravena, NY^[2]

Death

Catherine died before 1900.^[1]
