She was the wife of the late Henry R. Reidy.

She and her husband maintained a farm in Rensselaerville for many years where they raised goats and chickens.

Military Service

Mrs. Reidy served as an Army nurse in the China-Burma theatre of operations in World War II.

Death

Lillian died August 30, l997 at Eden Park Nursing Home in Albany, New York.

Burial

There was no funeral service as Mrs. Reidy made an anatomical gift of her body to the Albany Medical College.

ALBANY -- Lillian (Lily) C. Reidy, age 90, died August 30, l997 at Eden Park Nursing Home. Mrs. Reidy was born in Leghorn, MA. She was the wife of the late Henry R. Reidy. She and her husband maintained a farm in Rensselaerville for many years where they raised goats and chickens. Mrs. Reidy was a veteran of World War II and served as an Army nurse in the China-Burma theatre of operations. Mrs. Reidy has no survivors. She leaves dear friends, George Sleasman, Rose Mary Deaton, Constance Marsh, Alfred LeMon and Robert and Holly Cramer. There will be no funeral service as Mrs. Reidy has made an anatomical gift of her body to the Albany Medical College.
