Jacob P. Hochstrasser, a son of Paul I. Hochstrasser and Dorothy Fisher was born on December 28, 1796 at Berne, NY. [1]

Jacob married Margaret West[1] who was born on November 27, 1798, the daughter of Cornelius West and Mary, his wife[2], at about 1818.
