Manley was born on July 19, 1927, in Rensselaerville, New York.

Manley married Marjorie Elizabeth Waldron and had four daughters and three sons. The daughters are Dolores, Linda, Sharon, and Deborah Hillicoss. The sons are Dennis, Gary, and Manley Hillicoss Jr.

Mr. Hillicoss and his wife owned and operated an excavating business from their home.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Death

Manley died Friday, June 17, 1994, in his home after a brief illness in West Coxsackie, Greene County, New York.

Obituary COXSACKIE Manley F. Hillicoss Sr., 66, of Bronck Mill Road, West Coxsackie, Greene County, died Friday in his home after a brief illness. Mr. Hillicoss was born in Rensselaerville. He and his wife owned and operated an excavating business from their home. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Marjorie Elizabeth Waldron Hillicoss. Survivors include four daughters, Dolores Holewienko, Linda Taylor, and Sharon Lampman, all of Climax, Greene County, and Deborah Lezatte of Greenville; three sons, Dennis Hillicoss of Climax, Gary Hillicoss of Coxsackie and Manley Hillicoss Jr. of Athens, Greene County; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A service will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Remembrance Chapel of the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jefferson Heights, Catskill. Burial will be in Catskill Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hudson Valley Hospice, 29 Church St., Catskill, NY 12414.
