James Furman Sr. was was born April 6, 1792 in New York he may be the son of John Furman b. 1766 and possibly Elizabeth Gifford.
Occupation
He was a farmer and appears on Beers Map lot #444 from a Mortgage Record.
Marriage and Children
He married Esther Whitcomb (B. October 9, 1791 in VT) on February 7, 1814, in Berne. James and Esther had the following children;

Death
James died in Berne on October 7, 1842.
