Birth

Isaac was born on October 3, 1807 in Rensselaerville, a son of Nichols Cornell and Hannah Sisson[1]

Marriage & Children

On March 18, 1834, he married Rhoda A. Belden and lived in and around Windham. The following are the names of their children that have been identified:

Additional Remarks: Enlisted at the age of 44 to serve 3 years. [2] His son, Leonard, enlisted at the same time, in the same company, was beside his father when he was killed, was himself injured but survived. [2] Isaac was buried on the battlefield.
