Birth

Robert Teel was born in Westerlo at about 1831.[1], but lived most of his life in Greene County. He was a son of Abraham Teal and Hannah Gibbons who lived in Westerlo through the 1830’s.

He married Hannah, who was born in Coeymans at about 1840, a daughter of John and Hannah Sickles at about 1853 and had the following known children:

  • Selestia Teal
  • Robert Teal

Death

Robert died in 1908.[3] His wife, Hannah, died on March 15, 1899 and was buried at Grove Cemetery in Coeymans. Most of Robert's family, including his parents are buried at Grove Cemetery, but a marker for him has not been located.
