Mrs. Jacob P. Beebe
Esther Osterhout, widow of the late Jacob P. Beebe, died at the home of her son, Charles V. Beebe, in Altamont, Wednesday morning, Aug. 9, aged 84 yeas, seven months and two days. Mrs. Beebe had been ailing for some time past, but lately had been quite active, being able to be around the house up to the time of her death. She had been afflicted with dropsy for several months, with heart trouble setting in toward the end.
The funeral services will be held from her late home this Friday afternoon at three o'clock. Burial at Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Beebe is survived by a son Charles V. Beebe, and two daughters, Mrs. Palmer Cleveland of Scotia, and Mrs. Charles A. Vanderpool of this place. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
