The will of John G. Gallup, late of Knox bequeaths to his neice, Mary E. Clift, $2,500 and divides the residue equally between John G. Crary, Ann M. Carter, Horace, Hannah, Alida, Charles, James and Adelaide Gallup and Avery Dennison, except one-tenth to John C, Nancy E. and Eunice I. Bogardus.
John C. Bogardus is named executor, and the date is September 14, 1888.

Mrs. Eva Gallup died Friday, August 18, 1897, aged 93 years. Her funeral was held from her late residence on Monday at 12:30, Rev. Henry Lockwood officiated. Deceased is survived by two sons and three daughters, Dr. James H. Gallop, of Delmar, Horace Gallup, Hannah Gallop, Alida Gallop and Adilade Gallup, of Knox.
