Leonard Tubbs

KNOX—Leonard Tubbs, 67, of Township Road, died Friday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after being stricken at home. Mr. Tubbs was born July 23, 1929 in Berne, son of the late Fred and Bertha Norman Tubbs, and was a lifelong area resident. He, worked in the parts department of the former Walter Motor Truck Co. of Voorheesville. He retired from the town of Knox Highway Department.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche L. Tubbs; one daughter, Debra D. Dibble of Red Hook (Dutchess Co.); three grandchildren, Lisa Agate of Livingston (Columbia Co.), Sherry Dibble of Red Hook, and Martin Dibble Jr. of Elizaville (Columbia Co.); two brothers, Lewis Tubbs ofKnox and Richard Tubbs of Altamont; five sisters — Ruth Quay of New Mexico, Evelyn Delamater of California, Gloria White and Rose Hirst, both of Altamont, and Donna Lawyer of Cobleskill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Abrother, Merlin Tubbs, and sister, Gladys Lawyer, are deceased.

A funeral service was held Monday at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont with burial in Knox Cemetery.
