Mrs. Elias Warner

The many friends and acquaintances of Mrs. Elias Warner were greatly shocked to hear of her sudden and unexpected death last Wednesday (April 24, 1912) morning. She was visiting her daughter, Mrs. Z. A. D. Strevell, Albany. While not feeling at all well her condition was not considered as in the least critical. A physician was in attendance as she had been having an attack of jaundice. As she had not been very sick no alarm was felt by anyone, in fact on this particular morning she appeared to be much better and quite cheerful. Suddenly a turn for the worse was noticed and before a physician could be summoned she was dead. Mrs. Warner was 59 years of age and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elon Gallup and was born on the Gallup homestead in Knox and lived there until she married Elias Warner and went to live where she resided ever since on the farm at the head of Warner's Lake. Mrs. Warner is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Z. A. D. Strevell and Mrs. Harold Hinman of Albany. The funeral was held from her late home on Warner's Lake on Saturday, April 27, Rev. C. H. Traver of Berne read the service. Interment was at Knox.
