Birth
Spencer was born at about 1837 in Bainbridge, Cayuga County, NY. His parents were deceased before 1850 and he lived in Wisconsin, then returned to New York by 1860 and lived in Westerlo.
Marriage & Children
He married at about 1869, Jennie Smith who was born at about 1848. They lived in Albany in 1870 with her mother, Elizabeth, in their household. Spencer was a sash maker.
