Edward was born in Berne, NY, on September 25, 1918, [1] and lived most of his life in Guilderland. [2]He was a son of Edward B. Mattice and Pearl Laraway. [3]
Marriage and Children
Mr. Mattice married Patricia Macgregor and they had four sons--Michael E., E. Brian, Paul F., and Mark P. Mattice. [2]

He was a self-employed carpenter. [2]

Mr. Mattice was an Army Veteran of WWII. [2]

Edward died Friday, November 15, 1996, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. [2]

Edward was buried in Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie, New York on November 18, 1996[2]==Other Media== Obituary GUILDERLAND -- Edward B. Mattice, Jr., age 78 died Friday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Born in Berne, NY, he lived most of his life in Guilderland. Mr. Mattice was an Army Veteran of WWII, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Self Employed Carpenter and a member of Christ the King Church. Survived by his wife, Patricia Macgregor Mattice; four sons, Michael E. of Albany, E. Brian of Guilderland, Paul F. of Schenectady and Mark P. Mattice of Guilderland. Also survived by five grandchildren, he was the brother of the late Ruth Johnston. Funeral Services will be Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Hearley & Son Funeral Home, 1561 Western Ave. and 10 o'clock at the Church of Christ the King.
