Pauline Dorothy Maslowsky was born Nov 18, 1925, the daughter of Steven and Sophie (Stephen and Zofia) Maslowsky in Berne. Her siblings were:

Sympathy of friends is extended to the family of Mrs. Gerd Remmers, who died at Albany Medical Center Hospital Sunday, March 2
Born Nov 18, 1925, Pauline was the daughter of Steven and Sophie Maslowsky in Berne. She attended Middleburgh High School, and was married to Gerd J. Remmers by the Rev Russell B. Greene, Sr , and lived in the home where she was married on West Road. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Berne Fire Department and of the Berne Lutheran Church.
In poor health for some time, She underwent a kidney transplant in January and further complications kept her in the hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Gerd J. Remmers, a son, John of Westerlo, a daughter. Patricia, nurse at Albany Medical Center, twins Barbara, a nurse at St Clare's Hospital, and Robert, a state employee, her mother, Mrs Sophie Maslowsky; and two sisters, Mrs Peter (Helen) Polukort of Switzkill Road and Mrs. James (Anne) Panting of Schenectady.
Funeral services were conducted from the Fredendall Funeral Home on Wednesday with Rev. James Hilton officiating Burial will be in Gallupville Cemetery.

100th birthday
BERNE — Forty-nine friends and relatives gathered Saturday to celebrate the 100th birthday of Zofia Maslowsky, born Feb. 8, 1889, in the Ukraine. Coming to America in 1916, she worked for a number of years as a maid in the Plaza Hotel in New York City. She moved to Garvey Hill Road Berne, in 1924, and then to West Road in 1946. A few years after the death of her husband, Stephen, she went to live with her daughter, Helen Polukort, on Switzkiil Road. She now lives in the Guilderland Center Nursing Home.
Mrs. Maslowsky had two daughters and a son, of whom only Mrs. Polukort is still alive; Ann Panting of Knox is the only survivor among her three stepchildren. She has 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
