Birth
Robert Garvey was born abt. 1828 at Garvey Hill, Huntersland. He was the son of Isaac F. Garvey and Cynthia Day.
Marriage and Children
Robert marriedHarriet Cook (b. 18 Aug. 1832 d. 26 Oct. 1907) at Dormansville, a hamlet of Westerlo. Harriet's parents were David Cook and Ruth Sanford of Cook Rd. in Berne. Children of Robert and Harriet are,
- Marilla Garvey - b. 19 Feb 1852 d. 3 Mar 1920. She married Franklin W. Peck of Westerlo on January 18, 1872. Burial Rensselaerville Cemetery.
- Luella Garvey - b. 1860 died 20 Jan 1913 in Dover, Delaware. She married Adelbert Peck (a cousin to Franklin Peck).
Ocupation
Robert Garvey - was a farmer.
Death
Robert died March 27, 1872, in Rensselaerville. Following his death, his wife Harriet married again to Andrew Knowles. Harriet died in 1907. Robert and Harriet are buried in the Huntersland Christian Cemetery in Huntersland.
