Sarah Anna Carr was born November 5, 1868, in New York. She was a daughter of Storm Carr and Mary Trenchard. She was likely born in Coeymans where her parents were living at the time. She went by her middle name, "Anna".
Marriage & Children
Sarah married William Freleigh circa 1880. They had ten known children who were born in Indian Fields. The children were:

- Anna Laurie Freleigh
- William Freleigh Jr.
- Mary S. Freleigh
- Albert Steven Freleigh
- Frank P. Freleigh
