Birth

Isaac was born on July 21, 1806 in Berne, a son of Thomas Denison and Mary Crary. [1]

Marriage & Children

At about 1830 he married Mary Whiting Dibble who was born on December 30, 1810 in Conesville, Schoharie Co., NY, a daughter of Noah Dibble and Abigail Crippen[1]. Their children:

  • Huldah E. Denison was born on February 26, 1832, she married Ransom E. Sisson[1]
  • Daniel Denison was born on August 31, 1835, he married Lydia Norton[1]
  • Leonard A. Dension was born on June 15, 1837 and died on April 27, 1846[1]
  • Leonard A. Denison was born in 1847, he married Alida J. Cook[1]
  • William Austin Denison was born on August 4, 1848, he married Mary Amelia Sisson[1]
  • Emma Jean Denison was born at about 1853[1], no further information. She is likely the Elmina J. Denison named in Isaac’s will. She was apparently unmarried.

Death

Isaac died on May 22, 1877 in Berne and was buried at the Huntersland Cemetery. Mary died on August 19, 1880[1] and was buried beside him, although no marker exists for her.
