Birth

Huyler Daniel Tallman was born November 20, 1918, in Medusa to Fletcher D. Tallman and Alice W. Freleigh.

Occupation

Huyler worked for General Electric in Schenectady, NY and also for the Voorheesville Depot in Voorheesville, NY during World War II assembling equipment.

Marriage & Children

On July 24, 1943, Huyler marriedMary Louis Snyder in Westerlo. She was a daughter of Walter Leslie Snyder and Christina Messer. They raised their children in Dormansville where he built their house. They had four children:

Death

Huyler died of a heart attack in his sleep on July 17, 1955, at his home in Dormansville. At the time of his death he was 37 years old. He was buried in Westerlo Rural Cemetery, in Westerlo.

TALLMAN - Suddenly at Dormansville, N.Y., July 17, 1955, Huyler D. Tallman, son of Mrs. Alice Tallman, and the late Fletcher Tallman; husband of Mary Louis Snyder Tallman; father of Elizabeth Ann, Margaret, Mary, Alice Ir ene, and Christina Jane Tallman; bother of Charles, Ernest, Clayton, Frank and William Tallman, Mrs. Kenneth Humphrey, Mrs. Elmer Van Alstyne, and Mrs. Grace Warner. Funeral service Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Green ville. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening 7 to 9 o'clock. Interment Westerlo Rural Cemetery.

HUYLER TALLMAN - The sympathy of the community is extended to the Tallman brothers and their families in the sudden death of their brother Huyler, of Dormansville, Husband of Mary Louise Snyder Tallman; father of Elizabeth Ann, Margaret Mary, Alice Irene and Christina Jane Tallman; broth er of Charles, Ernest, Clayton, Frank and William Tallman, Mrs. Kenneth Humphrey, Mrs. Elmer Van Alstyne, and Mrs. Grace Warner, also his mother. Funeral Services were held at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville, N.Y. Wednesday afternoon.
