During its service the regiment lost by death, killed in action, 3 officers, 29 enlisted died of wounds received in action, 19 enlisted men; died of disease and other 2 officers, 154 enlisted men; total, 5 officers and 202 enlisted men; aggregate, 207; 38 enlisted men died in the hands of the enemy.
