The Daniel Conkling House was built 1806 by Ephraim Russ who was given a free hand to build this mansion. It was renovated 90 years later as a wedding present for Elizabeth Moore Huyck Eldridge from her father, Francis Conkling Huyck, Sr.[1]

This is the side of the house. The views from this side face down hill towards Rensselaerville. This side of the property was also home to the clay tennis courts. October 2009 Eric Chamberlain
