Birth
John Williamson was born c 1758. His birth location and names of parents are unknown.
Occupation
John was a farmer and landowner in what is now the Town of Knox before 1800.
Marriage and Children
John married Mary Passage, a daughter of George Passage and Mary Rutter about 1781 in Albany NY. Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1759, and died in Knox in 1842.
John and Mary had 11 children, only 8 lived to adulthood and were named in John's will:

Death
John died Feb. 1842, in Knox. John and several members of his family are buried on "the old Williamson farm" located on Bozen Kill Road. His gravestone says John Williamson, died February, 1842 aged 84 years
