MRS. SARAH M. HANNAY
Mrs. Sarah M. Hannay, wife of the late Beaman Hannay, died at her home on Sept. 15 (1968)
Mrs. Hannay was born in Westerlo June 15, 1874, daughter of the late Hiram K. and Henrietta Cook Jones. She was a member of the Westerlo Baptist church.
Funeral service, with the Rev. Douglas Nelson officiating, was held Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. in the Westerlo Baptist church. Friends called at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville on Tuesday evening. Interment was in Westerlo Rural cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Henry E. (Lucille) Briggs, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Winegard, both of Westerlo. Another sister, Mrs Nicholas Barber, pre-deceased her.
