Patton Armstrong was born March 9, 1805, in Knox. His father is unknown. His mother was Tahpenes Williams (b. 10/3/1788, m. 5/24/1807 to John Armstrong Jr., d. 4/30/1859)
Marriage & Children
Patton Married Jane Knight circa 1830. She was possibly from Saratoga, N.Y. They had two children:
- Jacob Armstrong, b 11/30/1830 in Knox; m. 5/20/1858 to Harriet Laraway (b. 12/11/1842 in Utica; d. 7/26/1907); d. 8/3/1915 in Plymouth, Iowa.
- Margarete Armstrong, b. 10/1/1832 in Schoharie County, m. 7/25/1871 Rev. William Earl of Knox, d. 3/13/1897 in Plymouth, Iowa
Death
Patton died 1835-1836 in Knox.
