Additional Research Notes
Examination of the Widow's pension file for Cornelia Van Deusen Murphy shows that neither James nor Cornelia or their family resided in Rensselaerville before or for many years after the Civil War. Cornelia likely removed to Rensselaerville after her family was raised and no longer in her home.
