Bernard was born November 7, 1828, to Francis Hurst, Jr. (son of Francis Hurst) and Christina Near. He was christened on December 28, 1828.
Occupation
In 1880, Bernard was listed in the Guilderland census as "farmer worker".

Bernard married Charity Elizabeth Wormer. They had two natural daughters:

Death
