Birth
Darius Davis was born in Westerlo on March 30, 1836, a son of John and Hannah Davis. [1]
Marriage & Children
Darius married Christina Pulver, aka Pricilla who was born at about 1821 in Schoharie County, at about 1843[2] and had the following known children:
- Nancy A. Davis born at about 1845 at Rensselaerville[3]
- Amos L. Davis born at about 1848 at Rensselaerville[3]
- Henry Davis born at about 1842[2]
- Viola Davis born at about 1861[2]
His life
Darius was a farmer for all of his adult life. He continued to work until shortly before his death at age 80 years.
He was a charter member of the John H. Betts Post No. 348 in Cairo, NY

Darius died on May 8, 1900[6] at Cairo, Greene County, NY and it appears from the death record that he was buried at Conesville, NY.
Christina died in 1909, and was buried in the Cairo Cemetery, in Cairo, Greene County, NY.
