Edward was born in or around Rensselaerville at about 1824. His parents were decesased prior to 1850.

Death
Rachel died of typhoid fever on September 6, 1886 and was buried at the Albany Rural Cemetery. Edward died of heart disease on March 5, 1888 in Albany, NY and was buried beside his wife.
