Birth
William was born near Reidsville on June 14, 1798, a son of William Conger and Margaret McNab. [1]
Marriage & Children
On June 4, 1820 he married Hannah Babcock who was born on February 11, 1799 in Berne[1], a daughter of James Babcock[2]. Their known children:
- Almira Conger was born on February 9, 1826, she married Oliver M. Hungerford[1]
- Catherine Conger was born on August 4, 1822, she married Elias S. Reynolds[1]
- William H. Conger was born on January 27, 1824, he married Louisa Hotaling[1]
- Hannah Marie Conger was born on April 2, 1828, she married Chester Flagler[1]
- James Enos Conger was born on October 14, 1830 [1]
- Josephine Conger was born on March 1, 1839, she married Dr. William Morgan[1]
Death
He died on October 5, 1869. His wife, Hannah, died on September 14, 1879. [1]
