Birth

Gideon was born on February 4, 1796 a son of Henry Denison and Mary Gallup. His siblings were:

Military

Although no records are currently available, Gideon served in the War of 1812 and achieved the rank of Captain.

His father was a Revolutionary War soldier.

Death

He died on February 18, 1826 and is buried near his family at the High Point Cemetery in Knox.
