Seymour Palmer was born at about 1780 at Coxsackie, Greene Co.,NY a son of James Palmer and Rue Beckwith.
Marriage & Children
Seymour married Freelove Wilcox 1801 who was born in 1801, a daughter of Daniel Wilcox, Jr. and Louisa Michaels, on or about 1812.
They had the following children:
- Ira Palmer who was born on August 17, 1812 at Westerlo
- Eli Palmer who was born on April 12, 1817 at Berne
Military
Seymour was a soldier in the War of 1812, he died at Albany, NY in 1817, presumably from injury or disease while in the service.
