Birth

Daniel was born April 23, 1805, in New York State[1][2], likely in Rensselaerville where his parents were living at the time. His father was Nathan Lounsbury and his wife Sarah.

Occupation

Daniel was a farmer. During the Civil War, wool from the Lounsbury-Tallman farm was used for uniforms for the Union Soldiers.[3]

Death

Daniel died at 6 p.m. on August 5, 1873, in Rensselaerville.[4][2] At the time of his death he was 68 years old. He was buried in Medusa Cemetery in Medusa.
