Birth

Lewis Kenyon, was born in Rensselaerville on June 15, 1843, and was a son of Simeon P. Kenyon and Susan Cross [1]

Education

He was educated in the common schools and Schodack Academy[1].

Occupation

He was a farmer and owned about 330 acres of land, the original homestead. He was justice of the peace and was supervisor for five successive years. [1]

Marriage & Children

In 1871 he married Frances M. Coggeshall who was born at about 1852[2], and had one son:

  • Clayton Kenyon[1] born in 1874[2]

At about 1883, Lewis married secondly, Elizabeth, who was born in December of 1846. [3] Their children:

  • Etta [1] A. Kenyon, born in November of 1883[3]
  • Nellie[1] Kenyon, born in February of 1889[3]

Death

Frances died in 1882[1], Lewis died on January 21, 1920. [4]
