Birth
Daisy Mae Freleigh was born August 2, 1902, in Indian Fields, Albany Co., N.Y. to William Freleigh and Sarah Anna Carr.
Marriage & Children
In 1918, Daisy married Huyler M. Decker, a son of Lucius M. Decker and Mary Hope Fox. They did not have any children. Prior to her marriage, Daisy was engaged to Ernest S. Applebee (1894-1918) and they had a child who died as an infant. Ernest died in World War I.
Death
Daisy died on October 18, 1977, in Dormansville at 75 years of age. She was buried in Westerlo Rural Cemetery in Westerlo.
Obituary
DECKER - Daisy, at Dormansville, N.Y. Oct. 18, 1977, wife of the late Huyler Decker; daughter of the late William and Anna Carr Freleigh. Survivi ng are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday 11 a.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greeneville, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Westerlo Rural Cemetery.
