Kelley]]''' of Dormansville, wore an apricot satin princess style dress with silver and white accessories and carried a white Bible, with yellow and blue rose. The matron of honor, Mrs. Mary Bassler, sister of the groom, wore a green and white dress with pink and white roses. Charles Bassler, brother-inlaw of the groom, was best man.

A buffet luncheon was served and there was music furnished toy Gerald Woodruff of Dormansville. The couple left for a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls and Canada. They will reside in Knox upon their return.

Chester W. Warner was born on Dec. 17, 1958, to Robert and Wilma Kelly Warner of East Berne. Chester was the grandson of William J. Kelley and Ethel Borden. . His brothers and sisters were:

  • Nancy Warner of Champlain, N.Y.
  • Christopher Warner, and his wife, Marni, of East Berne;

Education

Chester Warner graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo High school in 1976, and the State University of New York at Cobleskill in 1979.

Mr. Warner went on to graduate from Florida International University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1982.

Occupation

Chester W. Warner worked with several hotel management companies through 1995. He was last employed as a district manager with Canteen Vending, until he fell ill in 2001.

Marriage & Children

Chester W. Warner married Teri Delaney Warner. His children were:

  • Joshua Warner
  • Michael Warner and his wife, Vanessa

Death

Chester W. Warner died on Friday, April 6, 2012, after a long illness. He was 53.

BERNE — Chester W. Warner was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who worked in hotel management.

He died on Friday, April 6, 2012, after a long illness. He was 53.

Mr. Warner was born on Dec. 17, 1958, to Robert and Wilma Kelly Warner of East Berne.

He graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo High school in 1976, and the State University of New York at Cobleskill in 1979.

Mr. Warner went on to graduate from Florida International University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1982. He worked with several hotel management companies through 1995. He was last employed as a district manager with Canteen Vending, until he fell ill in 2001.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Warner is survived by his loving wife, Teri Delaney Warner.

He is also survived by two sons: Joshua Warner; and Michael Warner and his wife, Vanessa; and three grandsons: Keigan, Trei, and Chayse.

Also surviving are his sister, Nancy Warner of Champlain, N.Y.; his brother, Christopher Warner, and his wife, Marni, of East Berne; his nephew, Logan; and his goddaughter, Andrea.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday morning at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, in Schenectady, and was followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church.

Burial will be private.

Mr. Warner’s family would like to thank Dr. David Herman, the staff of Community Hospice of Albany, and the staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, especially Kathy, Rita, Frances, Eileen, Vicki and Rita.

Mr. and Mrs. William J. Kelley of Dormansville announce the engagement of their daughter, Wilma Jean Kelly, to Robert Warner, son of Mr and Mrs Chester Wanner of Warners Lake.

Miss Kelly is a graduate of Greenville Central school and is employed by Scony-Mobil Oil. company of Albany. Mr. Warner is a graduate of Berne-Knox-Central school and a veteran of the Korean War. He is employed at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady. A fall wedding is being planned.
