Birth

George F. Karker was born in about 1837 in Wright, Schoharie Co, NY to Isaac Karker (B. abt 1815, D. unk) and his wife Eliza.[1] His Karker ancestors were among the first settlers of Carlisle, Schoharie County.

Marriage & Children

Before 1862, George married a woman named Elizabeth A., whose maiden name is unknown.[1] She was several years younger than he, having been born in about 1842.[1]

They had the following children:

Life

George was born in Wright, Schoharie Co, NY as were his children.[1] He was living there in the 1880 census and was recorded as a laborer.[3] By 1890 Veterans census, he was recorded as living in West Berne, Albany Co, NY.[4]

Death
