Adelbert was born in Schenevus, Otsego County, on October 30, 1931.

Occupation

Mr. Linster was a machinist for Albany Steel in Selkirk for many years.

Military Service

Adelbert was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Death

Mr. Linster, 61, of Candy Hill Road died Wednesday in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.

Burial

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 9, 1993, in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery

Obituary Adelbert E. Linster, 61, of Candy Hill Road died Wednesday in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Schenevus, Otsego County. He had lived in Berne for the past 30 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Linster was a machinist for Albany Steel in Selkirk for many years. Survivors include a dear friend, Sylvia Weis of Berne and her son, Allen Weis of Albany; a brother, Nicholas Linster of Springfield, Ohio; three sisters, Matilda Bovee of Schenectady, Florence Aceti of New Hartford, Oneida County, and Dorothy Linster of Rome, Oneida County. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 5-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
