Birth

Thomas Jewett Mann was born in Berne on May 12, 1818, a son of Thomas Jewett Mann and Elizabeth (Betsey) Weidman. [1]

Marriage & Children

He married at about 1844[2], Catherine Weisgarver who was born in Berne on September 22, 1822, a daughter of Jacob Weisgarver and Maria Ecker[1] and had the following known children:

  • John Wheeler Mann who was born in Berne at about 1845[2]
  • Mary Mann who was born in Schoharie Co. at about 1851[2]
  • Alice Mann who was born in Schoharie Co. at about 1853[2]
  • Ella Mann who was born in Schoharie Co. at about 1855[2]

  • David Mann who was born in Schoharie Co. at about 1860[2]

Death

Catherine Weisgarver Mann died in 1899. Thomas J. Mann survived his wife and died about three years later, in1902. Both are buried at the Breakabeen Cemetery in Fulton.
