Birth
Robert was born in Albany on June 26, 1927,[1] the youngest son of the late William and Esther Bailey.[2]
Education
Mr. Bailey was educated in Bethlehem.[2]
Occupation
Bob was part owner of Bailey's Garage in Delmar for many years.[2]
Military Service
Bob was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.[2]
Death
Mr. Bailey passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2001 at the VA Hospital in Albany, New York.[2]
Burial
Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.[2]

BERNE -- Robert L. Bailey, 73, of Berne, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2001 at the VA Hospital in Albany. He was born in Albany and educated in Bethlehem. He was the youngest son of the late William and Esther Bailey. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was part owner of Bailey's Garage in Delmar for many years. He was a member of American Legion Post 1493 and VFW Post 7062. Bob was predeceased by a brother, William C. Bailey. He is survived by his brother, Richard J. Bailey of Voorheesville; his dear friend, Katie Parsons; close nephew, John W. Bailey and several nephews. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital, 22 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12209, in memory of Mr. Bailey.
